UI / UX Design

Creating intuitive human centred designs for seamless experience.

UI/UX Design

At a fundamental level, User Interface (UI) comprises all the elements on the page or the screen to enable the user to interact with the application (website / web app / mobile app / or any digital product). The User Experience (UX) is what the user of the application takes away from the entire experience.

In simple terms, UI provides the essential interactivity and UX makes the digital product easier and enjoyable to use.

Our UI/UX team follows the principle of “design thinking” and wears the hat of the user to create intuitive, user-centric interface.

Following are the key phases of the UX Process followed at Designscape

Understanding & Definition
Understanding & Definition

Definition of the objectives and the context for which the application has to be built along with requirement gathering is the first stage of the UI/UX design process. The expectations from the product are clearly defined at this stage. The various roles or user persona who will have access to the application are also identified.

Documentation & Architecture

Screen-by-screen list of elements along with the corresponding data types and data sources. This also involves reviewing existing practices and systems in use, in order to get a detailed understanding of the data to be captured at each stage.

Wire framing & Prototype
Wire framing & Prototype

This stage involves ideating, sketching, creating wireframes and eventually creating a prototype or a mock-up of the end product, which is very close to the final application in terms of design, colours, behaviour, interactivity and the overall look and feel. A mock-up is simulation of the final application.

Iteration & Validation
Iteration & Validation

The prototype is shared with the intended users and their feedback is obtained to ascertain ease-of-use and that all the functionality discussed when gathering the requirement This process is iterative and make take a few rounds of reiterations before the user acceptance after which the UI/UX design is finalized.
